Plant Sterols/Stanols
Plant Stanols and Sterols naturally help lower cholesterol and support cardiovascular health.
Benefits

Lipid-lowering Drugs (Bile Acid Binding Resins)

Plant sterols/stanols may further decrease cholesterol when used in combination with other cholesterol-lowering therapies. Consider using plant sterols in combination with the binding resins if a patient does not attain “target” cholesterol levels with drug therapy (and diet) alone and/or higher doses of binding resins are not tolerated.
